Are you looking to fulfil your interest in Design & Technology in a D & T Technician role in an ‘Outstanding’ school?
Glyn School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Technician to assist teaching staff in providing safe areas for students and teaching staff. The Technician will provide technical support to the relevant departments, by the preparation of tools, equipment and materials for lessons. The Technician will also support the teaching staff to undertake practical health and safety for the relevant departments.
The Technician role forms a central part of the work of the department and works closely with the teaching staff to support, develop and further extend the work of the department and the experiences of the students.
This is a Term Time only (39 weeks per year) full time position and we are interested in hearing from all candidates, no matter what point in your career you are currently at, and welcome flexible working arrangements.

The Design & Technology curriculum at Glyn is delivered by a motivated and hard working team who share a common vision: the aim to develop students to become proactive, independent and resilient technologists. We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced individual with a passion for design and technology to join our team of subject specialist technicians. The D & T faculty is very well resourced both with equipment for practical work and supporting software and our technicians support the delivery of high calibre practical lessons.
